The New Driver Car Control Clinic for teen drivers is seeking qualified, talented and motivated instructors in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Atlanta, Phoenix, Washington DC and South Florida. Applicants should have the demonstrated ability to teach small groups of teenage drivers and their parents vehicle dynamics, human dynamics, emergency response, eye management, brake management, accident avoidance techniques and defensive driving skills. Full training provided by Advanced Car Control Techniques. Click here to learn details about the programs.

The classroom portion of the clinics are held on Thursday or Friday nights from 6:30 to 8:00. The behind-the-wheel portion handles 10 parent-student teams at a time and are held on weekends during the school year and some weekdays during school holidays and summer vacations. In-car sessions on these days run from 8:00 to 12:15 and from 1:00 to 5:15.

There may be occasional travel, but most Clinics will take place within 50 miles of the instructor's home location.

Ideal candidates will have the following characteristics:

  • Training experience either as a professional instructor, teacher, corporate trainer, sales manager or other applicable experience.

  • Ability to talk to and with -- not at -- the students. These are hands-on, in-car programs requiring individualized instruction according to the student's ability and maturity. No lecturers or socializers please, this is serious business.

  • Good health and physical fitness. Maintaining your focus, attention to detail and good humor for 10 hours on asphalt in August requires stamina.

  • Positive references.

  • A serious desire to change the way people are taught to drive.

  • A serious desire to derive satisfaction from changing people's lives -- making a positive difference.

  • A desire to make money. This is not a charity program, nor taxpayer funded. It is a business and instructors will be competitively compensated.
